Hey Tammy! Welcome back to planDisney! It's been a couple of years since your last question, so I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a new magical getaway with your whole family. July can get quite hot in Florida, but I'm sure you'll be well-prepared, hydrated, and ready to enjoy every second of it. And I'm here to help you out with your question today.
When it comes to promotions, it's hard to predict when they'll be available in the future. The
Disney Parks Blogs and the
Special Offers page are the best places to keep an eye on. Disney World usually offers promotions for all seasons, and while they may vary from year to year, there's no specific date for when they go live.
Now, here's some good news: vacation packages, which include theme park tickets and a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, have a very flexible cancellation policy. You can find all the details on the
2025 Website Package Terms and Conditions, but the main thing to note is that vacation packages can be refunded if cancelled 30 days or more before your arrival (minus any non-refundable travel fees). For cancellations 2 to 29 days prior to your trip, you'll get a refund minus the $200 deposit (and any non-refundable travel fees). For cancellations made one day or less before your trip, the trip will, unfortunately, be non-refundable.
I usually book a full-price vacation package as soon as I know which Resort I want to stay at and my preferred dates. Then, I keep an eye on the Special Offers page, and if I find something better, I simply cancel my existing package and rebook with the new offer. I find it convenient that I can do this online or
reach out to Disney through phone or chat to make any necessary changes to my package.
I'll be crossing my fingers for a great offer for your family real soon, Tammy. If you have any other questions before your trip,
please feel free to reach out. It's always a pleasure to help out friends like you.
Cheers
Nilson
