Hear ye, hear ye! Let's welcome Lady Rachel to planDisney. You'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth in a few weeks, so I'm happy to see you're on top of making plans. Let's look at scheduling a royal makeover for your princess during your visit to the realm.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park is a popular experience where young guests are transformed into their regal best for the day. Guests can make reservations for this Enchanting Extra
60 days before they arrive, so it looks like you're within that window.
I did a quick search for
appointments online, but it looks like the boutique is booked on April 9. Guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels can book dining and experiences for the length of their stay, which is why appointments can fill up quickly. But hold on to your tiara; I have some suggestions!
Guests change their plans, right up until the day of their visit. I've had great luck checking for openings off and on until my trip. I snagged a reservation for Starlight Safari at a stoplight last year on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Persistence pays off sometimes!
Another option is to head straight to the boutique as soon as Magic Kingdom opens. There isn't a waiting list, but the Fairy Godmothers there will know of any cancellations. I'm wishing on a star that you can share this memorable experience with your daughter.
Some of my pals have gathered princess accessories and planned their own in-room boutique experience at their Disney Resort Hotel. You can bring along items from your kiddo's favorite princess and enjoy a mother-daughter spa day before heading to the theme park. A bonus tip is to head to
Sir Mickey's behind Cinderella Castle for a complimentary sprinkle of pixie dust from the Cast Members. There's even a PhotoPass display inside the shop with fun props to commemorate Coronation Day.
Rachel, I'm waving my magic wand so that all your family's dreams come true on your springtime visit. Please
stop by planDisney with any questions. I'll have your glass slipper waiting!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
