We are looking at a big family (12 of us, all adults + 4 y/o boy + 7 y/o girl) vacation in August of 2012. Can you recommend one particular week? Weather doesn't bother us, we're from VT, but we would like the week with the smallest crowds. Thank you!

Hi Kelsey! I like to visit Walt Disney World during less crowded times too, so I like your thinking! In August, you'll generally find that the last week of the month is the least crowded. Many children return to school in mid to late August, so attendance levels in the parks tend to drop at the end of the month. The beginning of August has fairly high attendance levels, while the end of the month has low to moderate ones. For this reason, the later in the month you can plan your Disney vacation, the less time you'll spend waiting in lines.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
