Looking for the best place to stay, not concerned about cost, with a 6 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old? Also is there extra things going on during the Christmas break?

Hi, Nicole!  There are a lot of questions that come up when trying to choose the perfect resort.  Are you hoping to find something convenient to the theme parks, because you'll be heading back to your resort during the day for naps or pool time?  Do you want something with a unique theme that you won't find anywhere else?  Do you want a resort with an awesome pool area?

With a one year old, my first thought is convenience, and that would be one of the resorts on the monorail system.  The Contemporary Resort is great for kids, as they have a pretty awesome arcade, a monorail that goes right through the resort, and with Chef Mickey's restaurant right inside the hotel, you can almost always catch a glimpse of a character if you need a quick fix.  You can also walk right to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary in about 10 minutes, which I like early in the morning.

For one of the best pool areas at Walt Disney World, I recommend Stormalong Bay, which is accessible by both the Yacht Club and the Beach Club resorts.  With a small lazy river, a great water slide, and the largest kiddie pool area I've seen, this is a great place to enjoy an afternoon - or even a whole day.

If you are looking for a unique experience, try Animal Kingdom Lodge. Where else can you wake up to see a giraffe outside your window?  If you book a savannah view room, you are likely to see giraffes, zebras, and all sorts of other beautiful animals.

If you have specific requests as to what your family needs in a resort, write me again, and I'll see what I can do to match you to your perfect place!
