I was just looking to see where is the best place in Port Orleans to request a room(I heard it is a huge resort)andwant to be close to most if possible.. And whenare the pool hours hours @ that resort.. I cannot find this info anywhere...

    Hi Kami,

I love Port Orleans, especially Riverside, as it's a really beautiful resort and the boat ride to Downtown Disney is just lovely.

I'm not sure whether you're staying in Riverside or the French Quarter but at Riverside the closest buildings to the main lobby and pool are numbers 14 and 18 in Alligator Bayou and 80 and 85 in Magnolia Bend. French Quarter is much smaller and all the buildings are relatively close to the main lobby, the closest buildings though are 2, 3, 4 and 5. You can request a room directly with the resort between 3 and 5 days prior to your arrival.

The scheduled pool hours are 7am to midnight with the lifeguards on duty at the main pool from roughly 10am to 10pm at peak times. One thing to note is that complimentary towels are only available at the main pool you can take them to the quiet pools to use there though!

You can see lots of information, including a map, at www.portorleans.org

    Have a fantastic trip,
