Hello, Christina! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Happily Ever After at
Magic Kingdom Park is my absolute favorite fireworks spectacular at
Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I love finding new places to watch the fireworks each time we go, but my two favorite spots within Magic Kingdom (other than the view from Main Street, U.S.A. which also allows you to see the projections on Cinderella Castle) are both in Fantasyland.
One great spot is on the bridge next to
Be Our Guest Restaurant. From here, the fireworks take on a whole new vibe as they explode in the sky behind Beast’s castle. If you sit or stand near that side of
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you can see both the fireworks that come from the back of the Park as well as the ones that surround Cinderella Castle. My other favorite place to view the fireworks from Fantasyland is in between
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and
The Barnstormer. My daughter and I love to sit on the rock wall and watch the spectacular unfold as we sing along.
Outside Magic Kingdom Park, the view of the fireworks from
California Grill at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is jaw-dropping. From the breezeway 15 floors up, you’ll have a spectacular view of not just Magic Kingdom Park, but the entire Seven Seas Lagoon. From the other side of the restaurant you can even see
Spaceship Earth at
Epcot! We also enjoy grabbing a Dole Whip from the
Pineapple Lanai and sitting on the beach of
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to watch the fireworks. The soundtrack comes through speakers on the beach, too! In addition to the tropical vibes of this setting, you can also catch the
Electrical Water Pageant as well.
Hopefully one of these locations will be a great alternative viewing location for you and your family, Christina. Please let us know if we can help with any other suggestions!
