I am looking into attending a radiology conference at the Grand Floridian in November, the week of November 5-12. I believe they have a block of rooms reserved for the conference. Can you tell me the room types/ availability and cost for that week?

    Hello Daniel! Welcome to planDisney!

If you're anything like me, you've been searching for a conference at Walt Disney World Resort as an excuse to mix business and pleasure!  My husband also has to attend these medical conferences, but when they're The Most Magical Place on Earth he never gets to go alone. If he was headed to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa I would be tagging along for that trip too!

While I am positive that any room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is going to be inviting and beautiful, I cannot guarantee what type of room is blocked for the conference.  I did look into the conference that I believe you're referring to and spoke with a Group Reservations Cast Member at (407) 824-1383.  He was very helpful and willing to book the room right over the phone.  While he did say that there was no specific room-type specified in the block, you could certainly request if you would like a Theme Park View, Lagoon View, etc.  Cast Members are happy to take these requests into consideration, but requests are not guaranteed.  Speaking with the Cast Members at Group Reservations is the best way to get a more accurate idea of rooms and rates for your stay.

I hope after all the hard work you put in at the conference that you're able to also spend some time playing in the Parks!  When you stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you're just minutes away from Magic Kingdom Park, so you should have plenty of time to head over and relax after a long day.  There's no better way to reward yourself than with a DOLE Whip from Aloha Isle and fireworks during Disney's Enchantment

I hope you're able to have an amazing trip, both working and playing hard, and that you're able to experience all the magic that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.  Come back and see us again if you have any other questions!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
