Hi Taylor-Rae,
It may be your un-birthday today, but in just a few months, it will be your actual
birthday, and I have some fun tips to make that day a special one!
First, let's make sure everyone knows it's your birthday. Head over to City Hall on
Main Street, U.S.A., or Guest Services in
Disney California Adventure Park to get a free Birthday Button. Wear it proudly -- you deserve all the birthday attention.
Afterward, if you're a foodie like me, another great way to celebrate is with a special dinner. One of my absolute favorite restaurants is
Cafe Orleans in Disneyland Park. There, not only can you enjoy a delicious Battered and Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich, but with a bit of advanced planning, you can order a
Celebration Cake as the perfect finale to the meal.
And if we're on the subject of food, another sweet way to begin a new year is with one of the out-of-this-world desserts at
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in the Downtown Disney District. For example, their menu includes the CakeShake, which is a milkshake topped with an entire Funfetti cake slice. If that doesn't scream birthday bliss, I don't know what does.
Lastly, I don't know about you, but I love a fresh start to a new year of life. If you're looking for some downtime to relax, I recommend either a spa treatment at
Tenya Stone Spa or a
poolside cabana at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Good luck planning your birthday, and if you need more tips or suggestions, please come back to planDisney!
Best,
Lola
