Looking for advice on new attractions at each park and MUST SEE things during our dec.1-7 disney world trip and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on dec. 1st

    Ho Ho Ho Jacette!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The holidays are the most wonderful time of the yEAR, especially when you celebrate at Walt Disney World! The magic is everywhere - from special Character greetings during the Merriest of Christmas Parties to SNOW on Main Street, U.S.A. (in Florida no less!).

I don't know when you visited last, but there are so many great reasons to visit the 'World right now! My top two are the brand new Disney Skyliner (opening in September), and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (opening Labor Day weekend) in Disney's Hollywood Studios! So let's head to the Land of the Stars first for your "must-dos."

Disney's Hollywood Studios is about to have my two favorite "lands" in the Parks! Toy Story Land is the most fabulous place to channel your inner kid and play BIG! Slinky Dog Dash is THE must-do for our family every time we visit. You will arrive a few moons after the intergalactic path to the Planet of Batuu is open. Make sure to stop by the infamous Oga's Cantina, where exotic libations and delicious bites await!

After your smuggling run, fly on over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to ride on the back of a banshee! Then step into a safari vehicle to meet my favorite Cast Members - the giraffes, zebras, and other live animals that call Walt Disney World home.

No visit to Epcot during the holidays is complete without a holiday stroll around the 'World. During Epcot's International Festival of the Holidays, you can sample festive drinks and food while enjoying international holiday traditions. Stop by the American Pavilion to tell Mr. & Mrs. Claus whether you've been naughty or nice! When you are ready to let it all go, head to Norway and experience Frozen Ever After.

Last, but definitely not least is Magic Kingdom Park. The feeling of Christmas abounds, and is in full overdrive at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Our "must-see" at the Party is the Toy Soldiers in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Their antics always put us in a festive mood, and our "must-do" involves food! Make sure to walk the Christmas Cookie Trail (your belly will thank you!). We always take a merry cruise on the re-named Jingle Cruise, and blast to Space Mountain, where you will rocket through holiday tunes and dazzling lights!

Jacette, may your days be Merry & Bright!
