Heya John! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for visiting us with your Disney World planning question. It sounds like you've got a fun-filled, action packed vacation plan for this Spring! Adding the
Water and Sports Option to your theme park tickets is a great deal, and comes with a lot of flexibility to enjoy those extra perks.
I'm happy to report you do NOT have to use your water and sports admissions on the same day as using a theme park admission ticket! You can use your "extras" admissions on completely different, additional days from your visits to the theme parks. So for example, if you purchased that 4-day theme park admission with Water and Sports Option.... you can go to the Disney Parks 4 days, AND have 4 additional days to enjoy entry at the extra experiences!
As a reminder, your extra admission options include:
- A Walt Disney World water park (either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park—whichever is open)
- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
- FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail
- Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one round; prior to 4:00 PM)
- Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (one round; prior to 4:00 PM)
And great news... you can repeat the "extras"! I love your idea of alternating a park day with a water park day... and stretching that vacation out even longer. Woo hoo!
The water park currently open at this time is
Blizzard Beach. However, if you're curious to see what will be offered during your stay... keep an eye on the
operating calendar. It may switch back to
Typhoon Lagoon by your May vacation dates. They are both amazing! Whichever it ends up being, promise me you'll savor some mini donuts from the Joffrey's Coffee stand in my behalf. SO DELICIOUS!!
I'm excited just thinking about all the magic you'll be packing into your terrific Disney World vacation! Please
visit us again at planDisney if we can help with any other questions or recommendations.
See ya' real soon!
