Oo-de-lally, golly what a day, Lori!
I see you followed Robin Hood and Little John through the forest and found your way here to planDisney. I'm elated you will be visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the EARidescent excitement of
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Are you counting down the days yet? I know I would be!
I'm honored you chose me to answer your question, Lori, and would be happy to help. The wacky musical stylings and comedy of
Yeeha Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge is indeed family-friendly. Children are allowed in the lounge, but they cannot sit at the bar. Just grab a table, and you'll be good to go! Have you thought about making one of your days at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside an extended adventure? Sleep in a bit that morning, then take the
water taxi over to
Disney Springs for a delicious, hearty brunch at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. Do a little souvenir shopping at
World of Disney before heading back to the Resort. Then, take a
horse-drawn carriage ride along the banks of the Sassagoula River before heading to one of the
fantastic pools on property for a leisurely afternoon swim. Rustle up some grub at
Boatwright's Dining Hall for dinner, then head over to the River Roost Lounge to catch Yeeha Bob's performance. Finally, end your night by enjoying a complimentary screening of a Disney movie at
Movies Under the Stars. That sounds like the perfect Disney day to me!
Don't forget to head over to
EPCOT to experience everything the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has to offer at some point on your vacation. You don't want to miss out on the tasty treats and eats at the Outdoor Kitchens, butterfly house, lush gardens and topiaries of Disney characters, or Garden Rocks Concert Series.
Lori, I hope this information helps, but please stop back by
planDisney again if you have further questions. May your trip be filled with magic, wonder, and loads of pixie dust!
Chase the wind and touch the sky,
Alyssa
