HI, I have looked at some dining menu's such as Be Our Guest and the kids meals are for 9 and under. There is no way my son (10)will eat the regular menu. He will not eat a steak with mushrooms or Lamb chops with artichokes. Not sure what to do?

    Dear Narelle,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with your question about planning your family's meals at Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom.

The good news is that the Walt Disney World Resort is probably the best place to vacation for someone who has specific likes and dislikes when it comes to dining! Your son can absolutely order an adult portion of a kids' meal at most any restaurant. My kids have ordered things with modifications or subtractions many times, and the chefs are very accommodating. They will definitely let you know if they can't do something, but if it's something that's already on the menu, that shouldn't be a problem at all. Of course, the charge for that menu item would be more than it would be on the kids' menu, but any time that I've done this with my kids, it has been a very reasonable cost.

Moms Panel tip - Did you know that you can make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance of your check-in date? Reservations are highly recommended for many restaurants, such as Be Our Guest.

Hope that helps you with your magical planning!
