Where do I look for activities before my reservation window is opened? I would like to plan ahead.

    Ahoy Betty!

Welcome to planDisney. I can already tell we have similar travel styles because I too love planning ahead and reviewing all my options as early as possible. Planning out my spreadsheets and checklists always helps get the excitement of our vacation started before it's time to actually start packing our luggage. Let's dive in and see what we can discover for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing.

I'm not sure which ship you're sailing on but I found two itineraries for the arrival date you listed, a 4-night voyage on Disney Wish and a 6-night on Disney Magic. If one of these is your sailing you'll be able to click the link for Port Adventures at each destination's page to review some of your options. Keep in mind that Port Adventures are subject to change and availability so what you see may change leading up to your particular sailing. You'll be able to begin booking Port Adventures and other specialty experiences on the ship itself, according to your Castaway Club membership level once your cruise is paid in full

Now if you're wondering about the daily activity schedule during your cruise you'll need to wait until you've boarded the ship. You'll find an array of activities from character greetings, trivia, movies, drawing classes, and Broadway-style live performances listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App each day. You'll even be able to "heart" your favorite activities and receive a reminder before they are set to begin. We usually like to look over each day of our sailing as soon as we board so we can mark off everything we'd like to experience. It keeps us from wondering "What next?" each day and helps ensure we don't miss any of our top choices.

I hope this was helpful Betty. If we can answer any additional planning questions before embarkation day, please sail right back and let us know.

    Bon voyage!
