How long(time wise) is the boat ride to Epcot and Hollywood Studios from the Beach Club Resort?

    Gracemarie,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

The Friendship boats that sail the waters between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are one of my favorite places to catch my breath, enjoy some quiet time, and recharge for the evening that is ahead. The scenic boat ride offers a nice way to navigate between area resorts and theme parks without feeing rushed.

The boats follow a route from the EPCOT International Gateway to Hollywood Studios with stops at the three following resort piers.

    1. Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort
    2. Disney's BoardWalk Inn
    3. Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Hotel

All told the ride between Hollywood Studios and the Beach Club/Yacht Club pier can take about 25 minutes. Times can vary dependent upon the loading of guests at any of the stops along the way. It is certainly faster to use the Disney Skyliner, or even to walk, if time is of the essence. But if lines at the Skyliner are long, I would opt for the boat before walking, just to conserve energy!

    BONUS TIP
If you opt to take the Skyliner instead, but have a strong need for a caffeine boost, just outside the Skyliner stop at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a Joffrey's Coffee stand with some tasty treats!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
