How long does it take to get to Disney's Polynesian Resort from Art of animation resort, and how long to get to magic kingdom from the Polynesian resort

    Hi Connie,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your transportation question! With Disney's complimentary Resort transportation, you'll find that traveling all around the Walt Disney World Resort is easy and enjoyable!

To travel from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you may take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park, and then board a ferryboat or Resort Monorail to get to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Since buses arrive every 20 minutes, you will want to factor in some time to wait for a bus, and then the ride itself in normal traffic should take around 20 minutes. Allow yourself a little bit of time to walk to the ferryboat or Monorail and wait for it to arrive, and then you'll find that both of those options will take around 15 minutes to get to your final destination. Altogether, I'd say the trip will take at least 45 minutes, but if you're wanting to be at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a specific reservation time, I'd allow up to an hour and a half in travel time, just to be sure you don't miss your reservation!

To travel to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you'll find it's just one stop away on the iconic Monorail, taking only 5 - 10 minutes, or you may enjoy a peaceful ferryboat ride, that will take around 15 minutes.

I hope that helps! Whatever route you choose, I encourage you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! Have a truly magical vacation, Connie!
