How long to walk the trails at AK (Gorilla Falls, Jungle Trek)? Any place to sit indoors for lunch at AK w/out scheduling a table service meal? Have Yak & Yeti for dinner, want QS lunch but my daughter hates eating outside.

Hello again, Jana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for submitting another question and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks to visit due to the sheer number of trails and areas you are able to explore! Both the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek are absolutely captivating examples of this! You and your family can explore beautiful tropical environments and view a variety of African and Asian animal species within both trails. It takes approximately 30 minutes to tour one of these trails so I would allow at least an hour to view both of them. Personally, I tend to take a bit longer to explore these trails since I end up sitting and watching the animals for a good amount of time, though!

My number one recommendation for quick-service dining indoors would be Satu’li Canteen in the Pandora - The World of Avatar section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Not only is this dining location predominantly indoors but it is also beautifully themed. There is also a great selection of both traditional and adventurous food options so this can be a great option of picky and exotic eaters alike!

I hope you and your family have a wild time exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
