Hi Daniella,
Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question! I'm happy to help you figure out what it's like getting around some of the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort.
First, at Disney's Animal Kingdom, getting from the Na'vi River Journey to Kilimanjaro Safaris is likely about a ten minute walk with average crowds and no stopping, but I like to factor in a little extra time when I can for those magical moments that just pop up unexpectedly. For example, when you're walking through Pandora - The World of Avatar, you may be able to witness the amazing
Swotu Wayä Na'vi Drum Ceremony, or as you approach the village of Harambe, you'll often find performers there too. My family loves dancing along with the rhythms of the
Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe. So fun!
In Magic Kingdom Park, a walk between Space Mountain and either Jungle Cruise or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will take about ten minutes in average crowds. A stop for a Mickey pretzel, a family photo taken by one of
Disney's PhotoPass Photographers, or some
pirate training with Captain Jack Sparrow could slow you down a bit, but also make for some of your favorite memories!
If you need help with directions, the Cast Members are super helpful. You are also able to find turn by turn directions with the
My Disney Experience app. I hope this helps you have a truly magical vacation, Daniella!
