Hey, Jennifer! Thanks for strolling by (yes, I went there) with your question! I was honestly so sad during the first trip to Walt Disney World Resort that neither of my kids needed a stroller. I seriously miss the stroller days! It was so convenient having somewhere to store our bags, coolers, and purchases. We will not even get into how many water bottles or Disney Refillable Mugs have been left somewhere since we no longer have cup holders to keep track of them!
I highly recommend that you go ahead on your first day in the theme parks and purchase a
Length of Stay Stroller Rental. Simply let the Cast Member know how many days you intend to rent a stroller and they will set you up with a ticket and receipt that you can show each day to make pick-up easy. It will take a few minutes that first morning to complete the rental. However, each day after that, just bypass the counter and head straight to the strollers. Show the Cast Member there your receipt. They will stamp it and send you on your way faster than you can say, "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
If you think you may need a stroller for use outside the parks, then you may want to rent a stroller from a local rental company. There are many great ones, such as the one you mentioned. Note that you will need to arrange a time to meet someone from Magic Strollers to receive and return the stroller. At this time, Walt Disney World Resort has set ScooterBug as the Disney Featured Provider of strollers and mobility devices. If you choose to rent your stroller through that company, then you will not have to be present to receive or return the stroller. This will all be coordinated through Bell Services at your
Disney Resort Hotel.
I hope this helps you plan for a magical visit! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
