How long does travel take from Disney All-Star Movie resort to Disney Springs using park transportation? We have dinner reservations and I just want to be timely on our departure and arrival times.

    Hello Pavielle!  Welcome to planDisney.

Your Walt Disney World resort vacation begins tomorrow!  Will you be too excited to sleep tonight??  I think you are going to love your stay at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.  The rooms here recently received a complete design overhaul, and I am a huge fan of the new look!  Bright and clean, with plenty of charging ports and efficient storage options.  I have included this planDisney Pocket Guide to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort with photos and panel tips.

Actual travel time by bus from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to Disney Springs takes approximately 20 minutes.  Adding in time to wait for a bus and walking to your dining location, I would plan to be at your resort bus stop at least 60 minutes prior to your reservation time.  Buses arrive on average every 20 minutes.  I usually plan about 90 minutes to travel from my resort to Disney Springs.  That way if the wait for a bus is a little longer than usual, I am not stressed about being late for my dining reservation.  If I arrive early, I'll spend time browsing the shops or enjoying entertainment on the Waterside Stage.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your visit -- there are some great features that can make navigating Walt Disney World Resort easier.  During your stay, you'll be able to check when the next bus to your destination is due to arrive at your resort.  Use the menu button in the lower right corner to select "Resort Hotel" and then "See Bus Times".  This feature is only active from your check-in to check-out dates.  You can also use the search button to type in your destination and then choose "Get Directions".  You can then enter your starting location, and the app will tell you what mode of transportation to use, and approximately how long the journey will take.

Another transportation option you might be interested in is Disney Minnie Van service.  Minnie Vans are requested and paid for in the Lyft app and will provide direct, private transportation to your destination.  A great way to arrive for your dining reservation in style!

Pavielle, I hope you have a wonderful vacation.  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  Enjoy your stay!
