How long does it take to travel from Art of Animation to each of the parks? Trying to tentatively plan our days and wondering if it will take too much time to head back to the hotel each afternoon for naps/swimming.

    Hi Erin,

Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation!  I'm sure your family will absolutely love Disney's Art of Animation Resort!  I'm also a big fan of afternoon breaks for napping, swimming or just relaxing, especially when traveling with little ones.

You will be able to take advantage of the complimentary bus service that's available between your hotel and the theme parks.  Buses run from one hour prior to the park opening time until one hour after park closing.  Once you're on board, here are approximate travel times from Art of Animation to each of the 4 theme parks:

    Magic Kingdom: 22 minutes
    Disney's Hollywood Studios: 15 minutes
    Epcot: 15 minutes
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: 20 minutes

Usually, buses run every 20 minutes or so, so just add that time into your planning each way.

I hope that helps, Erin, and wishing your family a magical vacation!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions.

    Beth
