Hi! We are long time visitors of Walt Disney World and specifically Fort Wilderness. We usually stay in the cabins. Are we allowed to bring a small sun shelter tent to the Meadow Pool and is there a grassy area near the pool where we can set this up?

    Hi Kathryn,

Fort Wilderness is on my bucket list of places to stay! I think I would stay there just for the many activities that are at this resort.

While there is a grassy area near the Meadow Swimmin' Pool, I am not sure you can bring a sun shelter. I would recommend that you call Fort Wilderness directly at 407-824-2837. The cast members will be able to provide you with the most up to date information.

There are umbrellas near the pool to help keep you out of the Florida sun.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
