How long before my stay can I book a restaurant?

    Hi Rosemarie!

Welcome to planDisney, and I'm excited to have you "Be Our Guest" today! Dining reservations are one of my favorite aspects of planning Disney trips; there is always something new and exciting to try! If you are staying at Disney Resort hotel, you can begin making dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date for your entire visit. If you are staying off-site or at a Disney Springs area hotel, you can begin making reservations 60 days in advance. To have the best chance of booking your dining preferences, I suggest using your My Disney Experience mobile app and MyDisney account on your computer.

Speaking of new things to try, 2025 will bring in new dining options, including:

As someone about to make dining reservations in a few days, I suggest at least one character meal and one meal at Disney Resort hotel. Some of my favorite dining spots at Walt Disney World Resort are in the resorts, and it's always fun to see the resorts what they look like and decide if you want to stay there on a future visit! I suggest dinner at Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort, breakfast at Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom.

Rosemarie, thank you for stopping by planDisney and visit us again if you need additional pixie dust for your plans!

    Magic Awaits!
