Hi there, Katie! It’s good to see you back at planDisney with another vacation planning question.
I’m actually at Walt Disney World right now, staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort on the Disney
Skyliner. It is SO great! I absolutely love everything about this resort and the Skyliner system.
Ok, let’s get to the question here, shall we? Skyliner hours may vary, and are always posted at the Skyliner station, so it is important to check for the day you are planning to use it.
If you park at Epcot and then park hop over to Hollywood Studios, you will need to find alternative transportation back to Epcot later to pick up your vehicle. What I would suggest is to park at Hollywood Studios in the
preferred parking lot (costs a little more but hear me out). This lot is directly NEXT TO the Skyliner station. You don’t even need to enter Hollywood Studios; you could simply walk to the Skyliner station and take it to Epcot. Then, spend your time in Epcot, eating and drinking ALL the things.
Once your day at Epcot has ended, hop back on the Skyliner to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to close out your day. Be sure to head to
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance around 7pm, we had only a 30-minute wait tonight for it! Close down Hollywood Studios and walk out to a car parked SO close! I speak from experience…I have done this exact thing and it was PERFECT.
At the end of the day, who wants to take a Skyliner or a bus (or 2) to get back to their car?
I hope this helps with planning for your November trip home to the magic!
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
