Welcome to planDisney, Walter!
Thanks for stopping by to chat about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Can you believe you’ll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. in just a matter of weeks? Have you started counting down the days yet? I know I would be!
It sounds like you’ve got a fun-filled day at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios planned, Walter. I hope you’ve made plans to experience my favorite attraction,
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, while you’re there. The immersive theming throughout the queue is top-notch, and you cannot beat the view from the top of the tower. I know big drops are not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s seriously so much fun! You should also make time in your day to watch
Fantasmic!. This beloved nighttime spectacular recently returned to Walt Disney World Resort and is better than ever before. The performance times will be listed in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Just search “Fantasmic!” to find them.
Honestly, I don’t think the timing of your dining reservation at
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and reservation at
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers will work out in your favor. In my experience, most table-service dining experiences take at least an hour, if not more, so 50 minutes to eat and walk over to Savi’s Workshop would not suffice. I recommend keeping your Savi’s Workshop reservation as-is and modifying your dining reservation at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano to an earlier time. To modify the reservation, click on “Change Reservation” under the reservation details on your “My Plans” page in your My Disney Experience account online. It will allow you to search for new times. If there are no reservations available at a better time initially, keep checking daily leading up to your trip. Oftentimes, as Guests change their plans, dining reservations will pop up that were not there before.
Walter, enjoy every moment of your magical vacation. Stop by again if you think of anything else we can help you with. We’re all ears and happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Alyssa
