Howdy fellow Texan, Calea!
I love all the diverse
Resort Transportation options provided at The Most Magical Place on Earth! With
Walt Disney World Resort being as massive as it is magical, it's a great idea to know your options for getting around the parks!
The
Resort Monorail will always hold a special place in my heart. My kids are huge fans; I like to call it their favorite attraction! You would take the
Magic Kingdom Park monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC). Once you arrive at the Ticket and Transportation Center, you will disembark that monorail and board the resort loop monorail going to
Epcot. Give yourself roughly 45 minutes for this trip. Riding the "public transport of the future" is so relaxing; sit back and enjoy the views while you're riding high in the sky.
The Resort Monorail does not run from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios, but there are other magical means of transportation you can take. I have two favorites you can use: Disney Skyliner and The FriendShip boats!
Travel by an aerial gondola on
Disney Skyliner. From Epcot, take the exit at International Gateway located next to the World Showcase. The station is located just outside. There is a transfer at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and then you've arrived at your destination:
Disney's Hollywood Studios! This ride takes about 15 minutes and I absolutely love it!
Another way to get from the two Parks is taking the
FriendShip boats. You would exit Epcot the same way, through the International Gateway and the FriendShip boats will be just outside. The boats do stop between the two Parks at the following locations:
Disney's BoardWalk Inn,
Disney's Beach Club Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort,
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel,
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. It's about a 30 minute ride from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios using this method. I like to find at the outdoor seating on the boats and feel the breeze as we cruise along.
You can also walk! Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios have a pedestrian walking path between them. I've taken that stroll for fun before and it's very scenic.
Calea, I hope you have the most enchanting trip visiting my happy place!
