As I am sure you have heard,
Walt Disney World Resort is offering Annual Passholders who have paid in full the ability to receive a partial refund for the period the parks are closed instead of an extension on their pass. If you have a Florida Resident Pass on a monthly payment program, you may also choose to cancel your pass starting in August and receive a refund for any payments made in July and August.
Gretta, in early July, Walt Disney World Resort will send out additional information about how to select these options. While you have already requested your refund, I have spoken to a few Cast Members who have said that the majority of these refunds have not been processed yet.
With all of the changes going on for
Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World Resort, it can seem like the phone lines are always busy! That is why I try to call first thing when they open at 7 am. In fact, just last week I only had a 12 minute wait time. My best advice for you would be to wait until after July 15th and call again to check on the status of your refund, as the friendly Cast Member on the phone may be able to give you a more definitive date for your refund at that time.
