    How long after purchasing an WDW annual pass do you have to activate it? I understand that it expires 365 days after first activation but I am inquiring about how many days/months you have to actually activate it for the first time after purchase. Thanks!

    New Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes are valid for one year after the purchase date. If you do not activate your pass within that time frame, it will expire and you will no longer be able to use it. Should you find yourself in this situation, you will still be able to apply the value (dollar amount) of the Annual Pass you purchased toward the purchase of an Annual Pass in the future. However, since the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, available only to Florida residents, is the only Annual Pass being sold at this time, you will have to call the Annual Passholder phone line at (407) 939-7277 to see what your options are. Hopefully, Annual Passes will be available to residents outside of Florida again soon, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates on this front.
