How long are my park passes good?

    Stephanie,

Thanks for your question to planDisney!

When you purchase theme park tickets for Walt Disney World, you select not only the number of park days that you want to enjoy, but you also select the starting date of those tickets. Once you have made those two choices, you will see the range of time when you can use those tickets. The more theme park ticket days that you purchase, the longer the range of time you have to redeem them. The range grows from a 4 day window to redeem a 2-day theme park ticket package, to a 2-week window to redeem the 10 days of a theme park ticket package.

If you are getting just a single day park ticket, it is just good for that date that you selected, of course. But when you add even just one more theme park ticket day to your purchase, the range of time you have to redeem the tickets expands. Here are the ranges, as they stand now when I searched the site.

    • You buy a 2-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 4-day period
    • You buy a 3-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 5-day period
    • You buy a 4-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 7-day period
    • You buy a 5-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 8-day period
    • You buy a 6-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 9-day period
    • You buy a 7-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 10-day period
    • You buy a 8-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 12-day period
    • You buy a 9-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 13-day period
    • You buy a 10-day theme park ticket package, you can use them across a 14-day period

Of course, these ranges could change, but I think you can reliably expect these to be in place when you order your tickets.

    BONUS TIP
If you are on your actual vacation and decide you want to add another park day to your ticket package, you can do so, as long as you have at least one ticket day remaining. Visit the Guest Services desk at any of the theme parks and they can help you out.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
