How long does the 5K marathon last on 2/22/19?in WDW.

Hi, Sherry! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The 2019 Disney Princess 5K officially begins at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, and the last buses to transport runners from the finish line back to their Walt Disney World Resort hotels will leave the Epcot parking lot at 8:30 a.m. How long runners take to get through the 3.1 mile course will depend on a variety of factors including their Corral Assignment (which will determine their actual start time), pace (which must be at least 16 minutes per mile), and the number of photo opportunities they choose to take advantage of along the course. Taking each of those things into consideration, my best guess would be that the last runners should be through the finish line no later than 8 a.m.

I have participated in the Disney Princess Half Marathon and the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K, but this will be the first time my family and I will run the Disney Princess 5K together. There’s something absolutely magical about every runDisney race, but the ones during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend are my favorites. Watching the sunrise as you make your way around the World Showcase Lagoon, taking in Epcot in a whole new way, and meeting some of your favorite Disney Characters in the process makes it a truly enchanting experience.

Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you about this most magical weekend!
