Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melinda!
Memento Mori’s Spirit Photography at
Magic Kingdom Park makes an amazing souvenir of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family and I had our lenticular portraits made during one of our visits a couple of years ago, and we’ve loved setting them out as a part of our spooky Halloween decor since then.
The process for the three of us only took about 20 minutes. Of course, this time frame will vary based on the time of day and the number of Guests who are interested in this unique experience, but from the time the first of us sat down for our portraits to the time we left the store with our magnificently creepy prints was less than 30 minutes. If you plan to visit Memento Mori as your first stop on the evening you arrive for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you should have your ghoulish souvenirs in hand well before the Party officially begins. While you’re waiting for your prints, make sure you check out some of the delightful
Haunted Mansion souvenirs available in the shop.
And here’s a bonus tip: If you have little ones in your Party, have them approach one of the Cast Members in the store and say “Sticker Treat” (the same way you would say “Trick-or-Treat” at Halloween). They’ll set the kids up with a small gift box and some complimentary stickers to get them started on their collection. Then whenever you visit any of the other
Walt Disney World Resort shops, the kids can say “Sticker Treat!” to a Cast Member at the counter and they should receive more complimentary stickers to add to their box. It’s just another nifty, fun thing the Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members do to help make Magical memories for the little Mouseketeers.
I hope you have a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Melinda, but beware of Hitchiking Ghosts!
