Another ? How long should it take to get from GF to BBB, GF to Chef Mickey's, GF to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall? Would be helpful in choosing times for reservations. Also, can Tinkerbell be found at the Toontown Fair? Thanks again. You have sooo helpf

Hi again Amy! One of the many reasons I love the Grand Floridian is that its prime location next to the Magic Kingdom and on the monorail route is so convenient.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has two locations: one in the Magic Kingdom and one at Downtown Disney. To reach the Magic Kingdom location, just hop on the monorail for a short ride to the next stop. Because you'll need to wait a few minutes for the monorail to arrive and then proceed through the bag check and ticket turnstiles before walking to the Castle, I'd allot thirty minutes to reach the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. (If you wanted to go to Downtown Disney, plan on 45 minutes to an hour for the trip.)

Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary is the next stop after the Magic Kingdom on the monorail. The trip takes 10 minutes or less, but since you need to factor in time to wait for the monorail to arrive and then to walk to the restaurant, you should plan to leave the Grand Floridian about 25 minutes before your reservation.

The trip to Akershus will take a little longer. To reach Epcot from the Grand Floridian, you must change monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Because you must wait for the monorails to arrive and then walk to the restaurant in Norway once you enter Epcot, you should plan to leave the Grand Floridian at least an hour or more before your reservation. (If you're running late, or don't want to spend that much time traveling, a cab from the Grand Floridian to Epcot costs about $12 and takes about 10 minutes.)

Tinker Bell and her fairy friends currently greet guests in Toontown, but during your trip next Spring, they may be in a new location, so your best bet is to check the Times Guide when you enter the park to see where you can find your favorite fairy.

Hope this helps! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel!
