How long is the Disney 100 Years of Wonder going to last? Will it be around for 18 months like the other anniversary celebrations?

Welcome to planDisney, Carol! I'm so glad you're excited about the Disney100 Celebration because I know I am! Marking a century of Disney is one of my favorite parts of 2023. Walt Disney was a man with a dream, and that dream has stood the test of time. I get chills just thinking about it!

As you may already know, the Disney100 Celebration officially kicked off in January at Disneyland Resort with the opening of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction and two nighttime spectaculars, "World of Color - ONE" at Disney California Adventure Park and "Wondrous Journeys" at Disneyland Park.

The official announcement on the Disney Parks Blog hints that there's more to come throughout the year, with the celebration culminating on October 16 with the company's centennial anniversary. No official end date has been announced, Carol, so I suggest keeping a watch on the Disney Parks Blog for updates about the Disney100 Celebration.

I hope you can enjoy some of the celebrations this year, Carol. It's the event of a lifetime! Please feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

Bright Suns! I'm Elaine, a retired teacher dividing my time between my home state of Kentucky and the Sunshine State. I married my college sweetheart, and now that our only son is grown, we are exploring the empty-nest life. My family has been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for over 25 years, so if you have questions about adult-only visits, plant-based meals, thrill attractions, and Florida-resident perks, I'm here for you in full Force. Like Yoda would say, "Trips, we will plan!" Learn More About Elaine
