Hello, Heidi! Thanks for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
While I have enjoyed a stay at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I have not had the pleasure of dining at
Victoria & Albert's. I do know a handful of people who have experienced this one-of-a-kind dining event, though, and everyone I know who's dined there has described it as nothing short of heavenly.
The time for the 8-14 course meal will probably range from three to five hours. My understanding is that adding the optional wine pairings will add time to your meal, as you'll want to take the opportunity to savor the wine as well as the food. On average, I would say four hours is most likely, but you will also need to factor in travel time. If you're dropping off your children at the Pixar Play Zone, you'll need to travel across the Seven Seas Lagoon from
Disney's Contemporary Resort to the Grand Floridian. (You can also take the
monorail, but I think a
boat ride in the evening is definitely the way to go on a date night.)
If you have concerns about having time to enjoy your meal and make it back in time to pick up your children before their evening ends, I would suggest calling (407) WDW-DVNA or emailing WDW.Victoria.and.Alberts@disney.com.
I do hope you get to experience a meal at Victoria & Albert's, Heidi. Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you.
Amy
