How long does DCL leave their christmas decorations up? We are sailing from the 27th to the 31st.

    Ahoy, Vicki!

My family sailed on the Disney Magic for New Year's Eve in 2013. When we arrived on the ship, we were happy to see that all of the beautiful holiday decorations were still up, and they were incredible! There were garlands hung all around the atrium, a giant Christmas tree and even a gingerbread house right in the atrium! One of the chefs was even there repairing some of the pieces when we were checking everything out.

Disney Cruise Line pulls out the holiday decorations in early November, and doesn't typically put them away until the first week of January. Of course, this could always change, but I am pretty sure that you will have the pleasure of sailing on a fully "decked" out ship.

I hope you have a wonderful cruise! Please visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions before you set sail in December.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
