Hi John!
I absolutely adore visiting
Walt Disney World during the holiday season! This year I visited twice over the holidays! Every Walt Disney World Theme Park and
Resort Hotel has its own unique decorations.
Disney's Animal Kingdom has a gorgeous tree right outside of the front gate with animal and nature-themed ornaments.
Disney's Magic Kingdom tree is iconic and is set in Town Square at the front of Main Street. My favorite Christmas decorations are at
Disney's Hollywood Studios! I love the retro Christmas theme throughout the park, especially the banners with Santa and his reindeer.
EPCOT has a plethora of holiday decorations and activities, including the Candlelight Processional, Holiday Kitchens, and my personal favorite, the
Holiday Cookie Stroll! You can eat cookies around the World Showcase and get stamps on your Festival Passport at the five stops. Once you've collected all five stamps, you can get a specialty cookie!
The process of decorating the parks and resorts usually kicks off on November 1, with a dramatic transformation of Magic Kingdom on Halloween night. The decorations typically stay up in the parks until a little after New Year's Day. From my past experience, Walt Disney World usually keeps the Christmas decorations up until just after the
Disney Marathon Weekend, which will be held from January 5-8, 2023.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
