Jambo and Welcome, Wendy!
With soft drumbeats, gorgeous lanterns,
spacious rooms, and exotic animals right outside the lobby, there is nothing like
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. This resort is one of my family’s
Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts and we always enjoy a stay here. When I am on vacation, I want to be transported to somewhere far away from my everyday stresses and worries, and Kidani Village is the perfect escape!
While the resort is geographically further away from some locations on property, since the bus only makes two stops, one at
Jambo House and one at Kidani Village, the actual time on the bus is similar to staying at many more centrally located resorts that have more numerous bus stops. The journey from Kidani Village to Disney Springs will be approximately 20 minutes by bus.
While
Disney buses generally run every 20 minutes, in my experience during the daytime hours you may wait a little longer for a bus to
Disney Springs because fewer Guests are wanting to travel there at that time. Because more Guests tend to go for dinner and evening entertainment, you’ll find the wait closer to 20 minutes in the late afternoon and evening. I am what I like to call “time anxious” and do not like to be late at all! I always recommend leaving yourself more than enough time to get to a dining reservation, typically I leave myself at least an hour and 15 minutes if headed to a reservation inside a theme park or Disney Springs and 90 minutes if heading to another resort and need to transfer buses.
I hope you have a wonderful stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Wendy. If you have any additional questions about your stay there, please let me know!
Have a Magical Day!
