How long will it take to bus from Pop Century and Magic Kingdom? We will have a car so thinking of driving to the other parks but just wondered how much time to give when planning for busing to and from MK. Thanks!

    Hi Abby!

Thanks for sending another great question to us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the complimentary transportation that's available throughout Walt Disney World and think it's one of the best perks for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel.  The fact that you'll also have a car will give you even more options!

Once you're on board, the bus service from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Magic Kingdom will take only about 10-15 minutes and you'll be dropped off near the front gates (the walk will take just a few minutes).  Buses run about every 20 minutes, so sometimes you get lucky when you get to the bus stop and a bus is there waiting for you to board, while other times you do have to wait the full 20 minutes.  I always plan that full wait time into my schedule, just in case, so I'd recommend allowing yourself at least 35-45 minutes in travel time.

If you're making other travel plans for your upcoming trip, there's a great resource on the unofficial site www.ourlaughingplace.com.  From the home page, you'll find a link to a "Transportation Wizard" that provides recommended routes and estimated travel times all around property.  It might be helpful as you decide whether to drive or take the bus to your destinations during your visit.

I hope this helps with your planning and wishing you a most magical vacation!  Please visit us again if we can help answer any other questions.
