How Long, does it take on the bus from the Caribbean Beach to downtown Disney Springs the boathouse restaurant

All aboard the planDisney bus, Laura! You arrive at Walt Disney World Resort in a few days, so I'm sure your Mickey suitcase is packed and waiting by the door. At least mine would be! I'm excited you're staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort; my family loves this resort because it offers Disney Skyliner transportation to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You're going to have a blast!

It sounds like you have a dining reservation at the BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. The last time I ate there, a certain young actor who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel film franchise was eating dinner with his parents. So keep your eyes peeled! I was thrilled to see him, but I was actually more thrilled with my Maine Style Lobster Roll. It was delectable!

You have a few options for traveling from your resort to Disney Springs. First, you can take the complimentary bus service. Estimating travel time is challenging since it depends on factors like which internal bus stop you'll use. The buses will stop in a loop around this large resort; sometimes, a bus can fill up with guests before arriving at your stop.

Once the bus leaves the resort, the drive to Disney Springs is only about 3 miles, but traffic can also come into play. The official Disney recommendation is to allow 90 minutes to travel to Disney Springs. The good news is that you can spend some time browsing if you arrive early.

Another option is to use a rideshare service like Lyft. Your driver can pick you up anywhere on the resort property and drop you off at either end of Disney Springs. You can check pricing in the rideshare app of your choice to see if this option will work for you, but it will likely get you to Disney Springs much quicker than the bus.

Finally, you can drive to Disney Springs if you have a car. Parking is free, and you can take your time shopping before or after your dining reservation. I always stroll through the World of Disney to do my souvenir shopping. That way, I can spend my time in the theme parks on thrill rides like my favorite, TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Laura, I hope you're "transported" to the magic on your upcoming vacation. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
