How long does it take for bags to be transferred for a split stay? We are dropping them off before 6 am with hopes to pick them up by 5 pm. We have a Jiko reservation and don’t want to keep our nice clothes with us during the day

Hiya, Brittany! Thank you for traveling through the forest and visiting us today. With every passing hour, I'm so glad you found my tower!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be experiencing not just one, but two Disney Resorts Collection hotels while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. With this kind of magical experience, you're sure to have the BEST. DAY. EVER! When transferring between Disney Resort hotels, the only thing that remains a little bit of a mystery is when your luggage will arrive. And I completely understand! Perhaps you want to read a book (or maybe two or three) or just have a romantic dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place. Whatever your plans are, you don't want to be wondering and wondering, "When will my life begin?" You want to have your luggage at your fingertips with everything you need, and I would love to help! I'll just let down my hair and see what I can pull back up...

Brittany, way down deep inside I've got a dream. And that dream is to have my luggage magically arrive at the exact time I need it. In my experience, luggage transfers with Bell Services can take several hours to get to your second resort. While I've normally experienced my luggage arriving by the late afternoon, there has been a time or two when my luggage has arrived in the early evening. I reached out to a Cast Member for some more guidance. After all, Cast Members know best! I was told that there isn't a set time to expect your luggage and it might depend on your specific resort. Her advice was to ask Bell Services at your first resort if they have a better idea of when your particular luggage might arrive at your second resort!

My best tip is to make sure that you have what you need in a purse or backpack without needing to completely rely on your luggage arriving on time. Even if you don't want to bring your full nice outfit with you, consider bringing a clean backup shirt, just in case you need it in a pinch. This way, you know you'll have everything you need! I always have a lot of peace knowing I have my essentials with me without wishing I could make the clocks reverse and bring back what once was mine – specifically, my luggage.

Brittany, I'm wishing for a speedy luggage transfer so you can go running and racing and dancing and chasing! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.

    Let your power shine,
    Michelle
