How long does it take (averge) to get from the parking lot to the parks?

Three of the WDW theme parks have parking lots that are directly adjacent to the park itself. At Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom, the parking lots are right there. If you arrive very first thing in the morning and are able to secure a spot near the entrance gates, you'll only have a 2-3 minute walk to get to the park. If you arrive later in the day and have to park at a more remote spot in the lot, you can still walk, though it would take a bit longer. For example, last year I walked from the most remote part of the Animal Kingdom parking lot to the front gate. At a leisurely pace, this took me about 8 minutes. There are also free trams that run continuously through the parking lots to the park gates. You are welcome to hop on one of these if you prefer riding to walking.

The Magic Kingdom has a completely different set-up. The parking lots for the MK are not actually located at the MK, they are located at the Transportation and Ticket Center which is fairly near the Polynesian hotel. You will be required to park at the TTC. Once you park,  you will have the same situation as above: if you arrive early you can walk from your car to the TTC gate, if you arrive later you can walk or take a tram to the TTC gate. From there you have the additional step of actually getting to the Magic Kingdom. You have two options: a ferry boat or a monorail. Either of theses modes of transport will take about 10-15 minutes to get you to the park.

From a time-saving standpoint, it often makes most sense to drive your self to Epcot, DHS, and the AK. But because of the extra step involved with the Magic Kingdom, it may make more sense to use Disney transportation to get there. The Disney transportation buses go directly to the Magic Kingdom gate and do not make the intermediate step at the TTC.
