    How long should we allow for transportation from the Grand Floridian to MGM during the middle of the month of Nov. of this year? And what time is Illuminations shown when the park closes at 8:00 or 9:00?

    Hi Bonnie,

    To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios(formally MGM) from the Grand Floridian will take roughly 20 minutes using the free Disney buses. Buses run every 20 minutes so you will need to allow for waiting time too.

    Illuminations tends to be scheduled for 9pm during November although towards the end of the month it changes to 9.30pm. To see the scheduled time for the day that you're visiting click HERE choose November and click on the required day.
