Hi Robin,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you have a trip planned just after the holidays have settled down! Escaping to sunny Florida in January sounds like a fantastic idea, and you are going to have so much FUN! Did you know that the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is kicking off on January 14th? With all of the incredible visual and performing arts on display, scrumptious bites and beverages, and the chance to step into some of the greatest pieces of all time, it's one of my very favorite festivals!
Dining reservations become available beginning 60 days in advance, and as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can enjoy the added benefit of making reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days. When I have a trip planned, I usually ask my phone, "What is 60 days before ___ date?" I just checked for you, and 60 days prior to January 15th would have been November 16th. As long as your Disney Resort hotel reservation was
linked to your My Disney Experience account, the system should have recognized that and reservations for all six days should have automagically opened up on the 16th. Hopefully, you were able to find the
perfect dining reservations for your upcoming stay!
If you had trouble finding anything, though, please don't give up! Guests' plans change all the time, and availability is certainly subject to change, especially the day or two beforehand as Guests' are making any last-minute cancelations to avoid a no-show charge. Of course, between the
walk-up list and the
mobile ordering service, the
My Disney Experience mobile app also offers delicious meals at any point - no reservations required!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Robin. I hope you have a truly magical...and
delicious...vacation!
Missy
