what is a lock off room?

    Hiya Claudia!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you make their Disney vacation dreams come true. I am so glad that you decided to bring us your question about Lock-Off Villas. With so many spacious accommodations in Walt Disney World, it would be my pleasure to help you find the one that best suits you!

From the Tower Studios that sleep up to 2 adults to the Grand Villas that sleep up to 12, Disney Vacation Club Resorts offer a variety of accommodations for families of all sizes. 2-Bedroom Deluxe Villas with a lock-off room include a 1-Bedroom Villa that adjoins to a Deluxe Studio. What makes this accommodation unique is the ability to close and lock the door between the two parts of the villa. It is perfect for families traveling together that want a bit more privacy. For instance, when my parents travel with my family, the 2-Bedroom Lock-Off allows us to stay together as a big group while still having our own space. My family can stay in the 1-Bedroom Villa portion and my parents in the Deluxe Studio. The 2-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa also offers a fully equipped kitchen in the 1-Bedroom part of the villa and a kitchenette in the Deluxe Studio.

I hope this information helps, Claudia! Here at planDisney, we are always happy to help answer your vacation questions, so please stop back by any time.
