    what locations are reasonable to get to for dinner if we're at magic kingdom for the day and want to eat dinner and then go back to magic kingdom?

    Hi, Kate!  If you want to leave the Magic Kingdom to go to dinner, your best bet are the restaurants at any of the resorts on the monorail.  You'll find restaurants at the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary Resort, and the Polynesian.

    I love the Polynesian for a nice, casual meal.  You can do an all you care to eat meal at 'Ohana, where they will bring skewers of things like chicken, steak, and shrimp.  Everything else is served family style, and you can ask for refills of whatever you want.

    If you're looking for a character dining experience, the Grand Floridian has 1900 Park Fare, where you can enjoy a buffet while schmoozing with Cinderella and her wicked step family.  Characters are subject to change, but it's been a great place to see one of the most popular princesses.

    The Wave at the Contemporary Resort features sustainable fish and seasonal produce in it's ever changing menu.  it's a nice place to relax and enjoy dinner.
