Hi, Julie!
Disney's PhotoPass is a complimentary professional photography service at Walt Disney World Resort, and you'll find the photographers stationed at over 100 locations throughout the property. If you're like me, and you want to prove that you were actually on vacation instead of being the one family member who's always behind the lens, then I know you'll want to seek out as many spots as possible!
Epcot is my favorite theme park, and the cultural theming in World Showcase makes it the perfect picture taking backdrop. Many PhotoPass photographers have country-specific postcard
Magic Shots, so if a particular World Showcase Pavilion has a special place in your heart, make sure to stop and ask! Two locations I recommend stopping for PhotoPass pictures are in front of the fountain in France (with the Eiffel Tower in the background) and on the bridge between the France and the United Kingdom Pavilions by the International Gateway entrance. My husband and I recently took some lovely wedding anniversary pictures here (on our honeymoon to Walt Disney World 20 years ago, I wasn't in a single photo)!
Here is a list of PhotoPass locations that are usually available around World Showcase (note that photographers move around throughout the day, so some of these photo spots may be staffed intermittently):
China Meet and Greet – Mulan
France Meet and Greet – Belle or Aurora
France Fountain
France Fragrance Gardens Meet and Greet
International Gateway Bridge
Germany Meet and Greet – Snow White
Mexico Meet and Greet – Donald dressed ready for Fiesta!
Norway Meet and Greet – Anna and Elsa in their Royal Sommerhus
United Kingdom Meet and Greet- Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, or Winnie the Pooh
World Showcase Overlook
Since your visit is planned during the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts, look for the
festival exclusive PhotoPass opportunities; there are shots that allow you to literally step into a work of art! Also, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, and if you're on social media, be sure to follow the Disney PhotoPass Instagram page and @DisneyPhotoPass on Twitter.
I hope your trip is picture-perfect, Julie!
