Hey-Howdy-Hey, Ashley! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. There's no better place to celebrate a birthday than
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'll be happy to walk you through the ins and outs of having some family join the festivities. Saddle up, and let's get to it!
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are always a lot of fun. Camping in the great wide somewhere is a nice change of pace after the hustle and bustle of the theme parks! There's so much to do at Fort Wilderness that you can have a fantastic vacation without ever leaving the resort. We are big fans of the recreation activities - including horseback riding at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch - and of course, the iconic
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!
Ashley, I chatted with a Cast Member about the rules for bringing day guests on site. You are welcome to have your family visit the campsite to join in the festivities. Just make sure that they have the information for your campsite and reservation, as Security may ask them when they arrive at the resort. Keep in mind that access may be limited at times, and the ultimate decision is up to the discretion of Security. If you are under the maximum of 8 Guests for the campsite, you can also add the other family members to your reservation.
I hope this information is helpful and that your daughter has a wonderful birthday at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Be sure to grab a birthday button at Fort Wilderness as part of the celebration! If you have any other questions about Fort Wilderness, or your Disney vacation in general, please come back and see us again at planDisney anytime, Ashley!
Yee-Haw!
Susan
