Hi there, Amy, and welcome back to planDisney! As a non-morning person myself, I'll be happy to help you plot your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass strategy for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit. Pull down that lap bar!
I chatted with a helpful Cast Member named Loretta who said as soon as a Lightning Lane return window expires, you should be able to
select a new one. She also added that it's always worth a try to stop by the attraction to scan in; Cast Members will sometimes give guests a grace period for being tardy. They understand how busy a park day can be!
Once your return window has closed, you should see an option in your
mobile app to book a new attraction. Tap that to see a list of available attractions and return times you can select.
If you have any issues or questions, my tip is to stop by a blue
Guest Experience Team umbrella inside Magic Kingdom Park. Those Cast Members can see your account history and help you with your Lightning Lane passes. I'm sending pixie dust your way so that you'll have a day filled with thrills!
Speaking of thrills, I hope you climb aboard
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad during your visit. This high-speed runaway train ride was recently updated to include new scenes and an improved track. I once rode at night and saw fireworks over Cinderella Castle! That was truly a magical moment.
Amy, thanks again for allowing
planDisney to help as you plan your trip. Here's to a practically perfect vacation!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
