Will there be Living Statues performances at Epcot on 1/28/19? Will there be Art Defying Gravity performances? If so, how can I find times and location?

Hello, Bobbi! I, too, am counting down the days until the Epcot International Festival of the Arts begins again. While we won't know the exact schedule for the performing artists until the weekly Epcot Times Guide is released that Sunday, I can tell you that last year's Art Defying Gravity performances took place daily between 1 and 4:45 p.m. and the Living Statues appeared between 11:30 and 5:30 p.m. at the Fountain View Plaza. Please keep in mind, though, that performers and schedules are always subject to change.

I can tell you that Dave and Beth Librande from Dave & Beth's Hobby Rockers are currently on the schedule for Jan. 28 to lead a seminar about the art of crafting animal rockers from wood from 11:30 a.m. until noon at the Odyssey Festival Showplace. This seminar is included with your admission to Epcot!

Additionally, a workshop presented by Todd Bright on Gesture Drawing Basics is scheduled from 1:30-2:45 p.m. on Jan. 28 (also at the Odyssey Festival Showplace). Todd is a former Disney animator whose credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and Brother Bear. During this workshop you'll create your own sketch to take home! You can call (407) 939-8687 to reserve your spot for $39 plus tax.

Be sure to stick around that evening as sibling duo Arielle Jacobs & Adam Jacobs (from Disney's Aladdin on Broadway) are scheduled to take the stage at the America Gardens Theatre as a part of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Performances are at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m.

I hope you enjoy you enjoy this year's Festival, Bobbi!
