Hi, We live in the UK and wanted our wedding day to be the first day we arrive. Should we have a big flight delay, can weddings be moved in any way because of the circumstances or do we just miss out completely? Many thanks!

    Hi Daniel!

Congratulations! What a magical place to have your wedding!

Being the Walt Disney World trip planner of my family, I tend to make some pretty ambitious plans but I think I'd have to recommend waiting until at least your second day at Disney for your wedding. I'd hate to see your your magical day ruined by travel delays or airline mishaps. Plus, arriving from the UK, you may need a little time to recuperate from the travel.

Maybe starting off with an evening couples massage and a wonderful dinner on your arrival day can set the romantic tone of trip, without adding in the stress of worrying about your wedding.

Hope you have an incredible trip!
