    Hi, I live in the UK and took my daughter on a staycation cruise around the UK in August. She was given a band on board that looks like a magic band, does anyone know if it is one and if so can we use it at Disney World? Thanks

    I can imagine that you had a wonderful (and well deserved) break from reality aboard Disney Cruise Line for your fabulous staycation. Wendy, I have my very first cruise coming up in just under a year and I can already see myself trying (and failing) to drag my two little ones out of Disney's Oceaneer Club. 

    Wendy, although the band that your child received may have looked like a MagicBand, the technology is actually quite different. Because of this, your daughter will not be able to use her cruise band at Walt Disney World Resort. 

    What you can do; however, is purchase a MagicBand for her at a specially discounted price only available to guests of the Disney Resorts Collection.
